Emerson Min

President | Pasadena, CA

Hey CC! I’m Emerson, an Econ and Acting double major from Los Angeles, CA. I’ve been acting professionally for over 14 years and am thrilled to be running to be your President with Lion’s Roar.

I led my high school’s largest affinity group; served on the board of ALLY: a 10-chapter nationwide non-profit 501(c)(3) which educated underrepresented youth to forefront leadership positions; and interned with Dr. Russell Jeung to interview and publish data to combat Asian hate.

Vote Emerson Min as your Class of ‘28 President. Roar, Lion, Roar!

Vice President | Location

I’m Cole Spence, a proud member of Columbia College, Class of 2028, Studying Computer Science. Originally from Arcadia, Oklahoma, and I am passionate about building strong, inclusive intercollegiate communities for our peers.

At Columbia, I’ve been involved in the Columbia Pre-Law Society, Black Pre-Law Society, and National Society of Black Engineers, so I’m dedicated to using tech, empathy, and teamwork to solve campus problems. As your Vice President, I’ll work to amplify student voices, improve transparency, and create lasting change. So, let’s make Columbia even better—together. I’m committed to serving with integrity, listening actively, and always putting students first.

Ray Wu

Representative | Toronto, ON

My name is Ray Wu, CC ‘28. Born in Shanghai and grew up in Toronto, I am now here in NY studying film and physics. Currently, I am involved with Studio 292, Double Exposure, and working as a documentary producer for SIPA.

At Columbia, I hope to continue representing your voice and make changes with real impacts that you hope to see. I promise to keep you in the loop on everything we do and listen to whatever ideas you might have.

Philip Popratiloff

Representative | Washington, DC

DC born and raised, I sometimes say I’ve been an architect my entire life (wow that sounds arrogant sorry) hence why I’m currently working for an internship back home for a revitalization project on Dulles Airport and majoring in Architecture along with a Sustainable Development Minor.

I love New York as much as anyone else (other than the trash on the streets…) and I’m involved with Carman Hall Council, along with graphic design work for other clubs.

You might see me working on FBA at FSAE; but beyond extracurriculars, I really want to help those around me maintain a stable, exciting life here and get the most out of Columbia.

Giovanni Zantoni

Representative | Milano, Italy

Ciao a tutti,

I’m Giovanni Zantoni, CC ‘28, and I am an international student from Milan, Italy. I am currently studying philosophy and art history.

I really like writing, and currently I am working on a collection of essays about university life at Columbia. Why is an art history major interested in class representation?

Well, art is not only about aesthetics, but it also tells stories of people, artists, identities and struggles, and I believe that it is teaching me a lot about how one can contribute to the wellbeing of a community.
